Why did I create this course

During my corporate career, there were numerous occasions when I needed help to navigate tricky & difficult situations at work & had no one to turn to. I couldn’t turn to my direct manager because they came with their perspectives & neither could I turn to HR who towed party line.

I needed someone who could understand things from my perspective. A safe, judgement free space where I could go & learn about navigating conversations with people I knew & was working with. Which is quite different from forging new conversations with customers, prospects or people who don’t know you.

I knew there was a perception about me, as is for all of us. I knew I was a smart cookie, but my smarts were coming up short. And I was just not able to put my finger on that was exactly.

So I faltered & made many mistakes before I started grasping how organizational life works, conflicting agenda’s & competing priorities can bring work conversations to a head. How I needed to choose when to weigh-up, when to go all in & how much to share.

Over time, I built an arsenal of methods that helped me (& help me even today) – to effectively navigate tricky & sticky work situations.
